from Regina Bustillos:

In May 2013, I left my job after 21 years with San Francisco Ballet, one of the worlds leading professional ballet companies. I had had the good fortune to work with many wonderful artists, including dancers, choreographers, musicians, designers, and stage technicians, at the top of their fields. Although I enjoyed my job and had been given tremendous opportunity during my years with SFB, I realized it was time for me to make a substantial change and move in a direction that would re-inspire me and foster creativity. It was a big and scary decision; leaving my colleagues, giving up my ritual and security, not knowing where I was going to land, but I knew I had the capacity to let go, jump in, and have faith. It wasn’t my first jump into the abyss but it had been quite some time. I have years of demonstrated experience in arts administration, executive  and personal assistance, production, office management plus years of experience, as a classically trained performing artist. In taking a closer look at what drives me, and what I enjoy, I realize that I take pleasure in building productive and respectful working relationships. I'm passionate about efficiency, attention to fine detail, and making sure everything flows smoothly. My most comfortable place is behind the scenes – in the trenches taking care of business and … putting on the show. With my background working in the arts and non-profit environments I find it truly rewarding to share what I can with artists, choreographers, directors, producers, or anyone seeking my expertise and assistance.
